We base our operation in Capital City Male where International Airport is also located.  So, for easy access and no extra time & fees for domestic air/ air taxi transit, most of our customer stay in North/South Male Atoll.  While most of fishing safari of dhoni heads far north slowly, perhaps these close atolls have been overlooked?  We are fishing in those two atolls just off the resorts or aiprot, we are catching so many GTs including Big Ones like over 40kg and even over 50kg!  Availability of budget guesthouses around 50 USD per night in package have proven very popular and functional for our fellow anglers who fish all day and just go sleep between fishing who don't need any luxuary over-priced facility and services.  We have welcomed a number of honeymooners for first GT Fishing and they catch also a lot and big from first day and try -- a bit envious...  Anyway, Let's Go Fishing!
